Boulder, Colorado — Today, Pham House is proud to announce the official premiere of the Talking Tim Podcast. What started as a passion project two years ago to commemorate friendships and highlight diverse perspectives is now available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. The podcast invites friends, new and old, to come share their unique stories and passions.
Host, Tim Pham has always been passionate about creating in new mediums but wanted to create something unique that could bring people together. The Talking Tim Podcast was born out of this desire to commemorate friendships and highlight the voices of those from different backgrounds and passions.
Over the past two years, the idea of recording conversations with friends and family, and learning about their unique stories, pursuits, and perspectives was floated around. It wasn't until this month that those conversations became a podcast.
Talking Tim will continually progress with new guests as they cover a wide range of topics, from art and music to sports and politics. Each episode will feature a guest who will provide insights and perspectives that challenge and inspire listeners to think differently.

The Innagural Cast
To kick the podcast off, the three first episodes feature a range of topics and conversations. Despite their different backgrounds and interests, Tim and each guest have a strong bond and a shared love for learning and exploring new ideas. Throughout the episodes, they engage in thought-provoking discussions on a variety of topics, including their personal struggles and challenges, their experiences with school and work, and their hopes for the future.
In the coming weeks and months, listeners can look forward to hearing from people with a wide range of experiences, including artists, activists, athletes, young entrepreneurs, and more.
Listeners can choose to listen to episodes in any order, depending on their interests and preferences. Read about the first three episodes below:
Episode 1: Sarina Nichols
Join Tim and his first guest Sarina as they chat about all things design. From discussing how they tackle work to why they both hate LinkedIn — you'll be inspired or at least tolerate their talks about their passion for design.
Episode 2: Ethan Yoder
Tim and Ethan talk about EVERYTHING in this episode. Join us as we cover a range of topics from romance and what it means to have that dog in you all the way to national defense and credit cards. Although it might be tough with Ethan's occasional screaming, sit back and enjoy this special 90-minute episode.
Episode 3: Sammie Crocker
Tim and Sammie get real and tackle the tough conversations today. Join them as they discuss work-life balance, motivation, and the benefits (sorta) of therapy and taking care of your mental well-being. You don't need a Ph.D. to follow along in this conversation (they sure as hell don't have one).
The Art
Before the voices and stories, listeners see the artwork — it’s the first impression, so we wanted to make an impact. Long-time fans of Pham House know what the artwork looked like when the podcast was initially pitched, very poetic. This is the part of the press release where it gets pretty informal and I just talk to you like a person. We continued a part of that poetry and created a new visual identity that was inspired by, believe it or not, the hit children’s TV show, SpongeBob.
Do you remember the scene in Spongebob where it shows the inside of his brain? Here let me just show you…
Yeah. That. We wanted to go for that. A super chaotic scene with papers flying around, but more importantly, showing the cabinets of “memories” and whatnot. The brain cracking at the end is a nice parallel too, cause we’re gonna blow your mind. Overall, the podcast art perfectly captures the spirit of our show, which is all about uncovering new stories, memories, and perspectives — and occasionally forgetting someone’s name or going on some wild tangents. We could have explained that better, but maybe that’s an incentive for you to listen to the podcast where we can articulate things better, sorta.
We’re really excited for you to check it out. This podcast is just a passion project, but a really personal one to us. Let us know what you think about it.
The Talking Tim Podcast is available now, exclusively on Apple Podcasts and Spotify
